  Good for a place to sleep along the TransCanada. Clean bathroom. Carpets could be changed. Didn't have the breakfast.

  This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. It looked like the bed had never been made, sheet was all wrinkled.The towels were grungy, the floor looked so dirty that I made sure to wear shoes all the time.I would not put my bare feet on that floor. The straw that broke the camels back was that when I got into the shower, there were black hair in it.GROSS!!! I will NOT be staying at this or any other Thriftlodge in the future.I did tell them about it in the morning and no offer was made to give me a cut in the price, just a quick,I'm sorry. I have to give it one star to post, but in reality it doesn't deserve even that much.

  Thriftlodge. It lives up to it's name. It looks like Travelodge abandoned the motel because of the upgrades it required to be competitive and Thriftlodge took over to compete with the $59 room trucker motels. The old pool still identifiable by the "6 ft" markers showing how deep it used to be now filled in with dirt and a patch of grass. The A/C quit on us and wouldn't turn back on. The free breakfast was just toast and cereal. The shower head was 1 ft shorter than I am, and the place smells musty and old. If you aren't expecting too much, you wont be disappointed. The bed was comfortable, the linens smelled clean. The entire room felt fairly clean. Good pressure in the shower, no leaky taps. If you want much more than that, remember you get what you pay for.

  What you see is what you get, definitely on the more run down side but the people were friendly and for $70 a night I couldn't really complain
